Refrigeration workers and handlers need to be certified by the EPA to comply with the Federal Clean Air Act of 1990.  This can be accomplished by passing an examination covering refrigerant theory, refrigeration machine operation, recovery procedures, transportation procedures, reclaim and recycling of refrigerants, evacuation and repair procedures, and other technical information about the laws/rules/processes of working with refrigerant.  This course is designed to prepare the students in a single 8-hour course to take the EPA exam, which will be given at the end of the course by an approved test proctor.  Exams are mailed to the certification agent, and results are available within 7 days to the student.
